When it comes to flea and tick control, more vets choose Frontline than any other treatment. They trust Frontline products to kill parasites fast and to go on protecting your pet.

Frontline Spot On is the only treatment for both cats and dogs that gives long-lasting protection against fleas and ticks and controls biting lice. In a convenient and easy-to-apply pipette, it kills parasites fast and goes on protecting your pet.

Frontline Spot On kills ticks within 48 hours, minimising the risk of a tick-borne disease being transmitted to your pet.

Frontline Spot On for Cats can be used in kittens from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 1kg treating all types of fleas.

Key Benefits:
- Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) and insecticidal efficacy against new infestations with adult fleas persists for 4 weeks.
- Prevention of the multiplication of fleas by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity), larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) originating from eggs laid by adult fleas for 6 weeks after application.
- Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product has a persistent acaricidal efficacy for up to 2 weeks against ticks (based on experimental data).
- Elimination of biting lice (Felicola subrostratus).

Can also be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

Directions:
Part the coat between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the spot-on pipette on the skin and squeeze gently to empty its contents onto the skin, preferably at two spots, one at the base of the skull and a second 2-3cm's further back.
1 pipette of 0.5 ml per cat (approximately 7.5 - 15 mg/kg).

Warning:
Care should be taken to avoid excessive wetting of the hair with the product since this will cause a sticky appearance of hairs at the treatment spot. However, should this occur, it will disappear within 24 hours post application.

In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks. It is important to apply Frontline to an area where the animal cannot lick it off, and to make sure that animals do not lick each other after treatment. If licking does occur, a brief period of hypersalivation may be observed, due mainly to the nature of the carrier. Ensure that treated animals do not groom each other after treatment until dry.

And don't forget to worm your cat with Drontal!

I have two cats under a year old and they got quite infested soon after being allowed outside from being kittens. I am about to use frontline for the third month in a row and there is no evidence of fleas, no scratching or flea dirt in the coats. Am very happy and so are the cats! I wouldnt buy it from anywhere but PETMEDS because this really is the best price available that I have found!
