A complementary feedingstuff for horses. To provide the horse with the necessary elements to sustain his system against the daily traumas which occur in training and competitive life. N.A.F. Inflamaze contains MSM, a bio-available source of sulphur which provides nutritional support for maintaining soundness. The life of the competition horse, training, travelling and competing, leaves him susceptible to strains and traumas. Many such traumas occur at a subclinical level, unnoticeable to the trainer. If the horse`s body is unable to repair them quickly enough they may develop into more serious problems, such as strained tendons, or sore joints; leaving him unable to compete for weeks, if not months. Sulphur is one of the building blocks of life. Within the amino acids, methionine and cystine, it constitutes a key element of healthy cell tissue and supports cell regeneration. Unfortunately due to the processing and storage of modern concentrated feeds sulphur is lost and, hence, often deficient in the equine diet. Supplementing elemental sulphur to horses has not proven to have any benefit as the horse cannot absorb it in that form. N.A.F. Inflamaze contains di-methyl sulphone (MSM), a bio-available source of sulphur present in the horse`s natural diet which is easily assimilated and provides nutritional support. N.A.F. Inflamaze also contains calcium, the most important nutrient for bone integrity; and vitamin D which ensures efficient calcium utilisation. N.A.F. Inflamaze is recommended for the lead up to, and recovery from competition to provide support for subclinical traumas. Horses: Initially feed 6-7 measures per day divided into 2 feeds. Thereafter feed 2-4 measures per day. Ponies: Initially feed 4-5 measures per day divided into 2 feeds. Thereafter feed 1-2 measures per day. 1 measures contains 25 g. Before competition or race It is recommended to supplement at the initial amount 4 days before and 2 days after |
