An anti-bacterial cleanser for the management of common equine skin conditions. Containing Tricolsan, this mild formula can be used as a multi-purpose cleaner, or diluted, to remove dirt, grease and contamination. Specifically designed for equine use, Active Wash lathers easily, gently cleansing the skin and hair, removing debris and helps control bacterial contamination. Tricolsan, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent, is known for its effectiveness against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, yeast, fungi, and dermatophytes. Being gentle on the skin, it is suitable for use in mild areas prone to mud fever and rain scald, subsequently reducing discomfort levels. Good acceptance levels and owner convenience also reduce the frequency of use. Supplied in a practical, sturdy 500ml bottle with a tamper evident cap. Shake well before use. To apply, simply dampen the area to be cleansed. Using a cap full of wash on a clean, damp sponge, apply to the area thoroughly but gently, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
