Whatever the cause of cystitis, when the lining of the bladder has been damaged the result is painful inflammation and loss of the protective GAG mucin layer. Canine Cystaid can be used to treat flare ups or can be given as a maintenance treatment for susceptible dogs. Canine Cystaid has been recommended by veterinary specialists for managing chronic haematuria and cyclophosphamide induced cystitis.
Active ingredients: 500 mg N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine.
Dosage guideline: 1 capsule per 10kg bodyweight for 3-4 weeks until complete resolution of symptoms. For recurring cases 1 capsule per 10kg bodyweight every other day as a preventative measure. |
