Each capsule contains 125 mg of glucosamine, the major component of the protective lining on the inside of the bladder.
 
This lining is damaged in cats suffering from FLUTD allowing urine to inflame the bladder causing cystitis.

my cat suffered blocked bladder and now has one tablet sprinkled on his food in the morning and so far, touch wood, has not had a blocked bladder since. i would highly recommend this product.
