Cystease S has been formulated with the same glucosamine quantities as Cystease but does not contain the alfalfa; making it virtually tasteless & odourless. Can be fed whole or opened and sprinkled onto food. Each tablet contains 125 mg of glucosamine, the major component of the protective lining on the inside of the bladder. This lining is damaged in cats suffering from FLUTD allowing urine to inflame the bladder causing cystitis. Administering Cystease helps protect the bladder and reduces the painful inflammation. Dosage guideline: 1 tablet daily in the case of cystitis flare up or in the more serious cases, reducing to one every other day for maintenance
