Dogs in the UK may be infected with around a dozen different types of intestinal worm. It is not always easy to spot the symptoms, and as your vet will tell you, that's why it's best to use Drontal at least every three months to prevent any serious worm infection.

Directions:
For oral administration only. The tablets can be given directly to the dog or disguised in food. No starvation is needed before or after treatment.

Dosage Guide:
½-2 kg bodyweight = ¼ Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet
2-5 kg bodyweight = ½ Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet
6-10 kg bodyweight = 1 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet
11-15 kg bodyweight = 1½ Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet
16-20 kg bodyweight = 2 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet
21-25 kg bodyweight = 2½ Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet

Additional Information:
Fleas are often infected with the larvae of the Flea Tapeworm, which can be transferred to your dog by swallowing the flea while grooming. So in order to control worms, you also need to control fleas. A spot-on treatment is the easiest way to protect your dog but choose one that not only kills adult fleas on your pet, but also kills flea larvae in your pet's surroundings, to effectively break the flea lifecycle.
