Drontal Plus Worming Tablets are for the control of gastrointestinal tapeworms and roundworms in dogs and puppies. Drontal Plus
Dosage 1 Drontal Plus Tablet per 10kg (22 lbs) bodyweight 1 Drontal Plus XL Tablet per 35kg (77 lbs) bodyweight.
The drontal plus tablets for dogs can be given directly to the dog or disguised in food. No starvation is needed before or after treatment.
Puppies and Small Dogs
1/2-2kg bodyweight = 1/4 tablet Drontal Plus Tablet
3-5kg bodyweight = 1/2 tablet Drontal Plus Tablet
6-10kg bodyweight = 1 tablet Drontal Plus Tablet

26-30kg bodyweight = 3 tablets Drontal Plus Tablet
For the control of Toxocara nursing bitches should be dosed 2 weeks after giving birth and every 2weeks until weaning. Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Thereafter they should be treated at 3 month intervals. It is advisable to treat the bitch at the same time as the puppies. For routine worm control, adult dogs should be treated every 3 months using drontal plus worming tablets. For routine treatment a single dose is recommended. In the event of heavy roundworm infestation, a repeat dose should be given after 14 days. Don't forget to flea treat your dog.
