Feliway is a synthetic copy of the feline facial pheromone used by cats to mark their territory as safe and secure.
By mimicking the cats natural facial pheromones, Feliway creates a state of familiarity and security in the cat's local environment. As a result, Feliway can be used to comfort and reassure cats, while they cope with a challenging situation and/or help reduce the stress caused a cat during a change in their environment - such as a house move, transportation, boarding, hospitalisation and the introduction of a new cat or person. Feliway Diffuser is an electric diffuser with a 48ml vial, and is proven to reduce cat stress symptoms, and restore your cat to its natural balance. The electronic diffuser will allow the Feliway scent to permeate effectively throughout an area of 50 to 70 square meters. This scent will last approximately four weeks. In Clinical Trials, Feliway significantly reduced urine marking by 74% - 98%, and has been shown to reduce stress levels in hospitalised cats, resulting in an increased foot intake and grooming behaviour - the common signs of a healthy cat. It can also provide an effective way to control and manage other unwanted feline behaviour such as scratching, loss of appetite or refusal to play and interact.
