Royal Canin Veterinary Clinical Diabetic Dog has been specially formulated for diabetic dogs by providing energy in the form of high quality protein, fat and complex carbohydrates.
 
fibre in the diabetic formula helps to slow down digestion providing 'bulk' benefiting the number of fibre responsive disorders. Soluble fibre acts as a nutrient in the large bowel due to it's fermentation by bacteria to short chain fatty acids.

My dog has made remarkable progress since I changed to this food. It is expensive but pancreatitis and diabetes can be helped by using this product.
