Product details

Sterilised cats have different hormonal levels to non-sterilised cats, meaning they're more at risk of weight management issues and other problems. Support your cat's changing needs with this Advance Sterilized Sensitive Cat Food Salmon & Barley.

How it works

Sterilising cats is important to many owners, but the resultant change in their hormones can create weight management and urinary health issues. Advance Sterilized Cat Food Salmon & Barley simplifies this issue with a lower-calorie mix and extra fibre. This helps to keep your cat feeling full and satisfied, while the high fish protein content helps maintain strong muscles.

This food is also designed to optimise pH and sodium levels to promote good urinary health and encourage water intake. The glycosaminoglycan content helps to prevent the formation of urinary stones, while the delicious salmon is easy on sensitive stomachs.

Key benefits

  • formulated for sterilised adult cats
  • optimised calorie and fibre content helps maintain a healthy weight
  • balanced protein levels promote healthy muscle mass
  • suitable for cats with sensitive digestive systems
  • low calorie content helps to maintain a healthy weight
  • reduces the risk of urinary stones and other issues

When to use it

Kittens should be desexed when they reach sexual maturity between four and six months, but can continue eating kitten food until they're one year of age. Cats need adult food from their first birthday, and because sterilised cats have different needs, this is the ideal upgrade once they reach adulthood.

If you have an already-neutered cat with digestive or weight issues, diet could be the answer – speak to your vet about the best food for your particular cat's situation.

Cats should be fed one or two meals per day. Remember to check the guidelines on the pack, and speak to your vet if you have any questions about your cat's diet.
