Product details

Advance Veterinary Diets Weight Balance Dog Food is a complete diet food specially designed for dogs with obesity or hiperlipidemia

How it works

The products of the Advance Veterinary Diets range are formulatted with special ingredients, supported by scientific studies to meet the nutrional needs of different diseases. Advance Veterinary Diets Weight Balance Dog Food helps fight the excess of weight and regulate fat metabolism. With high protein content such as potato, beetroot, maize bran, this kibble transforms fat into energy, without loosing muscle mass, while providing a sensation of satiety. The mixture of antioxidants and Omega 3 fatty acids contributes to reduce the inflamatory state and minimise oxidative stress (a process caused by free radicals like an apple turns brown when exposed to air).

Key Benefits:

  • Reduced calorie content- Fewer calories per kilogram of food
  • Includes high protein which induces a satiating effect and reduces muscle mass loss
  • Source of medium chain tryglicerides (MCT) - Helps transform fat into energy
  • Source of Omega 3 fatty acids helps reduce the inflammatory status caused by excess body fat
  • Antioxidant mixture- They act synergistically and reduce oxidative stress

When to use it

Advance recommends this recipe for the following conditions:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes Mellitus in overweight dogs
  • Hyperlipidemia in overweight dogs
  • Fiber-responsive colitis
  • Constipation

  • Health issues associated with catabolic conditions

Because veterinary diets are formulated for the nutritional support of pets with specific clinical conditions, we recommend that you only use them under professional advice. Please consult your veterinary surgeon.
