Product details

Keep your dog secure in the back of your car with the Clix Car Safe harness.

How it works

This harness is designed to keep your dog safe in the car. With soft neoprene padding covering the straps, it’s gentle against your dog’s skin and offers extra protection across the chest area.
The unique cross shape is comfortable and offers an ergonomic fit, keeping the harness in position even while your car is moving. It’s made from safe and approved seat belt material and is strong enough to withstand sharp braking or an accident.

There are double-sided adjustable buckles that make strapping-in a breeze, as well as an easy-snap clip that doesn’t require you to bend your dog’s legs. You can either plug this harness directly into the seat belt socket or pass the seat belt through the straps. This harness is suitable for use on walks as well as inside your vehicle.

Key benefits

  • soft neoprene padding is comfortable for your dog
  • safety-approved material
  • keeps your dog secure even when moving
  • can be plugged directly into seat belt socket
  • offers an ergonomic fit

When to use it

Taking your dog with you on a journey can be a stressful as well as rewarding experience. Dogs usually love zipping along in the car and will often try to stick their head out of the window. Unfortunately they don’t understand the dangers of jumping into the front seat, so it’s important that you keep them secure. This harness is a much safer alternative than securing with a collar, as it evenly distributes pressure and weight in the event of an impact and its clever design protects your dog’s neck and spine from damage when you’re moving along. It's highly recommended that you keep your dog strapped into the back seat to prevent distractions and accidents while you're driving.

Please note: not suitable for Volvos

Very sturdy and does the job very well but I bought a med for my cocker spaniel as it said on the sizing that this would do a corgi but it is a bit big and you can't adjust it much should have gone for small

  • Perfect for Harry
Totally fits the bill in the car. This harness allows Harry enough freedom to wriggle about & get comfy but keeps him very safe.

  • Car safe harness
Just right for my dog in back seat - she has recently refused to go in the back of car so needed to seek alternative means of securing her.

  • I purchased a harness from my Vets - No whereon line does it mention that these harnesses are not suitable for Volvos. It does say on the packet - luckily I was able to return it. I am still looking to buy a suitable harness.
