Product details

Kittens from weaning to one year should be fed Feline Healthy Development cat food. It's specifically formulated with proper protein, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin and mineral levels to promote strong muscles, bones and teeth; bright, clear eyes; and a healthy skin and coat - all signs of your kitten's good health.

Rice is a highly digestible source of starch. It improves the overall diet digestibility. Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides (FOS) and beet pulp stimulate the growth of the beneficial intestinal flora. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) play a role in maintaining the integrity of the intestinal mucosa.

The kibbles texture and shape promote a mechanical brushing action limiting the formation of dental plaque. Sodium polyphosphate, present on the kibble surface, binds salivary calcium and thus limits tartar formation.

Protein digestibility is increased by selecting protein that is highly digestible in the intestine (wheat gluten, poultry protein isolate L.I.P.) thus decreasing the amount of protein entering the colon by 20-40%.

The synergistic antioxidant complex (vitamins E and C, lutein, taurine) enables the body to protect itself more efficiently against external stresses (bacteria, viruses, pollution?) and enhances the vaccine reponse. Mannan-Oligo-Saccharides (MOS) play a role in maintaining the intestinal mucosal immunity and limit the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria by reducing potential attachment sites.

Dehydrated poultry meat, rice, animal fats, dehydrated poultry proteins, poultry liver, maize gluten, wheat gluten, vegetable oil, vegetable fibres, beet pulp, minerals, fish oil, yeast, fructo-oligo-saccharides, trace-elements (including chelated trace-elements), sodium polyphosphate, hydrolysed yeast extract (source of mannan-oligo-saccharides), egg powder, taurine, marigold extract (rich in lutein), vitamins.L.I.P. (Low Indigestible Protein): protein selected for its very high assimilation

  • This is brilliant kitten food - no mess, no waste and, most importantly, all three of my kittens love it. I don't need to worry about quantity because they'll eat what they want and come back to it when they want, so there's no hunger and no stuffing their faces. Extremely healthy 6 months now and they've been on it since they were weaned.

  • This product may not suit Spanish Persians but it REALLY IS SUPERB for Persian cats in UK! They love it and eat it all up and have wonderful glossy coats. NB a cat fountain is a must when giving dry food. I have a china one which all the cats love and the kittens even use as a water-slide as well!

  • This food was recommended by a breeder and my vet. The cats both took to it straight away - they love it and look really healthy. Got it 2 days after ordering and at a bargain price so all 3 of us are happy :)

  • I have 8 cats and they all love hills science plan.
Everyone , even people who have had cats of their own, always comment on how silky and smooth our cats fur is, even tho they are just moggies. I believe this is due to the food they eat, high quality food that they love. Not only do our cats love this food, but giving them hills science plan instead of a cheaper complete food, they dont need much to fill them up. so although it is more expensive to buy, it doesnt work out that much different , as you
