Kokoba Plastic Bowl
The Kokoba plastic bowl is a hard-wearing but simple food and water bowl for cats and dogs.
How it works
This basic round bowl is made from non-toxic plastic, so it's safe to use for water or food. The non-slip rubber keeps it from skidding around your floor, and it's sturdy enough to handle the most excitable of eaters. The surface is smooth and easy to clean. Wash it every day with warm soapy water to keep bacteria at bay (and cut the chances of your little buddy picking up a tummy bug).
- traditional circular design
- can be used by dogs or cats
- rubber base stops skidding on hard floors
- easy-to-clean hygienic surface
- plastic is durable, hard-wearing and non-toxic.
When to use it
Whether you have a dog or cat, their water should always be topped up or they could become dehydrated. As well as being full, your pet's water supply should always be fresh. Empty out the bowl and refill it twice a day to stop germs and other bacteria hanging around. You should also wash the bowl in warm soapy water once a day to stop biofilm from forming around the edges. Remember to rinse it thoroughly so no soapy residue is left behind.
You should wash the bowl once a day if you're using it for food, too. All pets are different, but, as a rule of thumb, adult dogs and cats should eat twice a day. Filling up the bowl and letting your pet eat when they feel like it is called 'free-feeding', and isn't generally recommended by vets. Instead you should feed your pet at the same time each day, and throw out anything that hasn't been eaten after 20 minutes.

Kokoba Plastic BowlExcellent quality bowl - non slip. I bought a small - good size - equally suitable for dog food and water.
Extra Large Bowl - Used as Water BowlDon't ask yourself will it be big enough. YES IT WILL BE. Have two dogs, one who slurps and spills and empties the bowls quickly. Still makes mess but plenty water left after drink. Sturdy well made build. The only problem is having a steady walk across kitchen myself to place it down without spilling, so I don't quite fill it. Admit the large bowl would probably have been a good choice. If you use it as a food bowl I reckon it would keep a Great Dane/Mastiff quite happy at this size.
