Kokoba Slow Feed Non-Slip Pet Bowl - Stainless Steel
The Kokoba anti-skid eat slow bowl helps your pets to pace their eating, avoiding digestive problems while making mealtimes easier and cleaner thanks to an anti-slip design.
How it works
Pets naturally tend to eat quickly and enthusiastically, which can often lead to pushing their bowl around slippery surfaces like wood or laminate flooring. The Kokoba anti-skid eat slow bowl features a rubber ring (fully detachable), to keep your pet's food in one place. The raised central area limits how much food your dog or cat can eat at once, which in turn prevents them from gulping down food without chewing. The stainless-steel construction also makes it easy to clean, and it won't affect the flavours of your pet's food.
- helps your pet pace their eating
- slower eating benefits your pet's digestive system
- stainless steel means the bowl doesn't affect food flavour
- easy to clean stainless steel design
- rubber base stops your dog or cat pushing their bowl around during mealtimes.
When to use it
One of the main issues with eating too fast is the lack of chewing. This can lead to your dog or cat taking in lots of excess fluid and air, as well as food, during mealtimes, putting additional strain on their digestive systems.
Larger dogs are more likely to suffer from stomach swelling from wolfing down food (also called gastric dilation volvulus) than smaller breeds. Because eating quickly is natural behaviour for your pet, using a specially designed bowl like the Kokoba Antiskid Eat Slow Bowl helps to avoid these problems.
Signs your dog or cat is eating too fast can include coughing and vomiting during or immediately after eating. It's always advisable to ask your vet about your specific breed's eating behaviour, too.

BrialliantThese bowls have really helped to slow my cats down. Feeding them in separate rooms also helps as does splitting the meals into smaller portions but feeding more regularly.
Does what it says on the tinI was a bit dubious but it really works. Before her bowl used to end up miles away from where it started. And it's certainly helped slow down her wolfing of her food.
Feeder bowlThe bowl does its job, it slows down how quickly our dog eats her food. The only negative is that the non slip rubber keeps coming off the bowl.
