Royal Canin Feline Exigent 42 Protein Preference
This Royal Canin Protein Preference is specially formulated to encourage even the fussiest of eaters back to their bowl at mealtimes.
How it works
Rich in proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, this complete food not only provides everything your cat needs to stay healthy and happy, it also gives them a feeling of satisfaction after each meal. This can encourage them to eat, even if they're very choosy. The food also contains added omega-6, which helps to strengthen their coat and skin. The energy content is carefully balanced in a way that helps them to maintain a healthy weight, too.
- omega-6 essential fatty acids for healthy skin and coat
- balanced energy content makes it easier for them to stay at a healthy weight
- complete, all-in-one food
- suitable for all adult cats over one year old
- gives a feeling of satisfaction after eating
When to use it
If your cat seems uninterested in their food, or even refuses to eat, changing what's on offer is normally the first place to start. Always talk to your vet before changing their diet, however, as there could be other causes. It's possible your pet might not be feeling satisfied after eating, in which case this food can help to tempt them back to their bowl. It uses a rich mix of proteins, carbohydrates and fats to ensure that there's a feeling of fullness and satisfaction after every meal.
As well as appealing to your cat's senses, this satisfaction will encourage them back for more next time. It has everything they need nutritionally, as well as added essential fatty acids which help to keep their fur soft and healthy. You can feed this recipe to your cat once they are over 12 months old.

Yum yum!My rather fussy cat, George loves this food. Previous to finding this, he would only eat Go Cat, and only one flavour of that but I wanted him to have a better quality food. We tried several which he didn't like. Fortunately, he loves this. I highly recommend it.
All of my 6 cats of varying ages like this one.
Our cat didn`t like this one as much as Royal Canin Feline Exigent Savour Sensation. I believe the main reason is the size of the pieces. They are quite large triangles and only one shape.
I would not give anything else to my 2 babys ! My indoor Bengals have always had Royal Canin. After being sterilised I used the sterilised 37 food which they love. I tried indoor but they did not like it, I tried Fit but they started to put weight on so back to sterilised for the last year and they also finish the bowl. A large bag lasts at least 2 months, so 10 a month per cat is a bargain! And you know its the best you can get for your cat/s.
My two cats are both indoor cats, one with long hair and one with short hair but dry skin and pads.
For this reason I alternate between the Skin & Hair 33 and Indoor 27 varieties.
The skin and hair makes a huge and visible difference - their coats are more glossy and easier to comb, it also helps with dry flaking skin and dandruff. The shape and texture of the biscuits is easy to maanage too - even for my elderly cat with no teeth! She doesn`t struggle to eat the biscuits at all and their roug
