Product details

If your dog is suffering from diarrhoea, constipation or fibre-responsive colitis, Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response could help to ease their symptoms.
How it works
This nutritionally balanced dry food contains protein from poultry and pork, which are gentler on your dog’s digestive system than other meats. EPA and DHA fatty acids, alongside prebiotics, aid healthy digestion and encourage regular bowel movements. This food is packed full of fibre, which promotes the movement of food through the intestine, and beet pulp that allows for greater absorption of nutrients. Your dog’s overall health is taken care of too, thanks to omega-3 oils for supple skin and joints, strong muscles and a shiny coat, as well as antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, which support the immune system.

Key benefits

  • nutritionally balanced dry food
  • designed to suit adult dogs with digestive issues
  • packed with gentle proteins for sensitive stomachs
  • encourages regular bowel movements with high fibre content
  • vitamins, minerals and antioxidants boost the immune system
  • provides overall support

When to use it
Ease your dog’s symptoms when they’re suffering from constipation, fibre-responsive colitis or stress-related diarrhoea with Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fibre Response. Symptoms of digestive issues include watery stools, lethargy and lack of interest in food. It’s vital that you have a proper diagnosis from your vet before you change your pet’s diet, as you don’t want to upset their stomach. They might recommend a gentle mix like this one to replace your dog’s usual brand of food for life. Once you’re ready to alter their food, check the packaging for feeding guidelines and remember to mix the old brand with the new to allow your dog's stomach to adjust.

  • My sheltie has always been prone to diarrhoea which got worse recently(although vet never mentioned Colitis) and needed antibiotics. Since changing to this food 2 months ago so far no more problems yippee

  • Fantastic Stuff!
My little dog (1/2 pug, 1/4 shih tzu, 1/4 belgian griffon) is now 4.5 years old and has had this food throughout her adult life. As most small dogs are, she was prone to having her [email protected] glands emptied often, but for some reason we needed to keep taking Peaches back to the vets for it every 4 weeks. With this food she can go at least 3 months... just expect to pick up a lot of p00p! It might be pricey but we buy the biggest bag and as Peaches is only little, it lasts her forever.

  • Advised by vet after several years of anal gland problems with my 8 year old shih tzu to try this food, the results were very good, not however changing the anal gland situation (these have since been removed - a great result), but the food has cleared the long standing problem of brown and smelly tear stains. A really good outcome.
