Royal Canin Hairball Care Adult Cat Food
Cats often spend large parts of its day self-grooming, and can therefore swallow large quantities of hair. This ingested hair can become compacted in the digestive tract, resulting in the formation of hairballs which are then either regurgitated or eliminated through its faeces.
The specific blend of dietary fibres, including psyllium (rich in mucilage) and insoluble fibres have been included to help naturally stimulate healthy intestinal transit. This naturally then reduces the amount of hair swallowed daily building up in its stomach and is passed as faeces rather than being regurgitated.
Royal Canin Hairball Care contains a precise combination of nutrients with a high protein content (34%) and a high fat content (15%) to ensure that a healthy level of nutrients is maintained effectively.
ROYAL CANIN® Hairball Care has been proven to eliminate twice as much excess hair in a cat’s body after just 14 days of feeding.
- Composed of a specific blend to reduce hairballs
- Complete balanced meal for adult cats
- Blend of minerals to keep the urinary tract healthy
- Amino acids for a strong heart and bright eyes
- Dietary fibres keep excess hair moving through the gut
- Twice as effective at preventing hairballs than regular food

Good product for long haired catsMy cat loves it - she still occasionally brings up some fur but rarely, so it obviously works. I've noticed she poo's twice a day now so it has a laxative effect.
Very good productBoth my cats eat this with no problem and definitely reduces the hairballs. Well packaged
online purchase Hairball care 34Absolutely fine, the cat loves it. Eats it all the time.
BrilliantMy cat Milly was always bringing up furballs, quite worrying sometimes! But since using this, hardly ever sick now and she looks healthier.
Royal Canin Intense Hairballi have fed my cat Demelza with this product ever since she started eating kibble, she is now 13 yrs old, fat, happy and healthy still! Because she has a lot of Maine Coon in her, the underfur is very thick and exceedingly fine, my vet suggested she should be primarily fed with a product that would make it easier for her to eliminate hairballs, and recommended Royal Canin Intense Hairball. She still throws the occasional hairball, but a lot less than she would otherwise. I can heartily recommend this product, it does exactly what it says on the tin!! well, packaging anyway! LOL!
