Product details
Royal Canin Maxi Adult 5+ provides a nutritionally balanced source of protein, fibre, calcium and minerals for older dogs, helping them to maintain a healthy life for longer.
How it works
This formula offers your pet all the nutrients they require to live a healthy, happy life in one complete food. Royal Canin Maxi Adult 5+ is specifically formulated for larger breeds over 26 kilograms in weight. Dietary fibre ensures an easily digestible food and allows proteins to get to work on improving lean muscle mass. This, along with additional minerals to support bones and joints, keeps your dog active for longer. As in humans, free radicals have a negative effect on the ageing process; the complex formula of antioxidants in this diet helps to minimise these effects. Added calcium improves your pet’s dental health, while complex fibres encourage digestive tolerance, enhancing your dog’s day-to-day life.
Key benefits
- calcium helps reduce tartar formation and maintain oral health
- nutrients support joints and bones, giving greater mobility

Great balance in a dog foodWe have been giving our dog Royal Canin food for a while now and I can say without doubt this a great food with balanced nutrition good sized biscuits which are easy to eat. The real test is whether our dog will eat his food every time and he really loves it.

I`ve been feeding this food to our Border Collie since he was a puppy and it is the only dry food he`ll have! We`ve tried other known brands, but he`ll literally take it and spit it out elsewhere when you`re not looking.
Whenever we get asked what we feed him, we always get told that`s very good quality food, whether it`s a vet or a fellow dog owner.
The food smells very meaty, which might be why he can`t resist it (not to mention other dogs that sometimes visit us). It is very well balanced, maki
