Royal Canin Canine Renal RF14 is a complete dietetic feed for dogs formulated to support renal function in the case of chronic or temporary renal insufficiency, through its low level of phosphorus and high quality protein.
It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Initially feed Renal for up to 6 months in cases of chronic renal insufficiency. For cases of temporary renal insufficiency a period of 2 to 4 weeks feeding is recommended.

Royal canin renal wet 12 tinsOur Jack Russell had some blood tests done years ago as he was drinking a lot and being sick. The results came back and our vet recommended he was put onto a renal diet to help the kidneys. I also used the dry renal rf14 2kg bag and just added a handful and put the small kibbles into a plastic bag and broke them up with a rolling pin/hammer so they were almost a powder and mixed it with the wet tin food and added some water so it wasn’t too dry. This diet really helped him.
