Stool Repel-UM Coprophagia Aid
Product details
Stool-Repel-UM is especially formulated for dogs that are prone to consume their own faeces.
Coprophagia, however unpleasant, is not an abnormal behaviour for a dog. Bitches naturally consume their own pups faeces to keep the den clean and disease free.
The use of Stool Repel-UM in your pets daily diet may help to see a change in this behaviour. . Stool Repel-UM in a palatable chicken-liver flavour is safe, non-toxic and has been specially formulated and may help deter this behaviour.
Ingredients:
Oleoresin Capsicum - A lachrymatory agent (a chemical compound that may irritate the eyes to cause tears and mild pain). The active chemical may cause a burning sensation and irritation of the mucous membranes. This is the active ingredient that may help to repel the animal from eating its own faecal waste.
Alpha-Amylase - An enzyme that breaks down the proteins, improving the animals digestive performance. This in theory should make its waste matter less attractive to eat.
Directions:
Small Dogs (upto 5kg) - Half a tablet daily
Medium Dogs (5-10kg) - One tablet daily
Large Dogs (Over 10kg) - Two tablets daily

Maybe too early to tellMy dog has only been on these for a couple of weeks and whilst I thought they may be helping as she started sneezing after sniffing her poo, I did lift it quickly. However today out in the park I didn't get to her quickly enough. Will persevere a little longer and hopefully have the desired result. Have based my star ratings on the information I have so far.

Not nice to deal withIt does what is says on the box, if your dog eats its own faeces, this has proved to stop it.
