| A mixing licence is required to buy this item. Petmeds can supply Flubenvet only if: the medicated feed is mixed at the house where the birds are kept and those birds are not reared for sale or supply for consumption off the premises. Flubenvet Intermediate is a Medicated Feed Supplement. It is effective against gapeworm, large roundworm, caecal worm, hairworm and gizzard worm in chickens, turkeys, geese, partridges and pheasants. Activity includes adult worms, larvae and eggs. Flubendazole has no adverse effect on egg laying or hatching. Dosage: a) Pheasants & Partridges - 240g of Flubenvet Intermediate gamekeeper pack per 100kg of feed or 2.4kg Flubenvet per tonne of feed (60ppm). Treat for 7 consecutive days. b) Chickens & Geese - 240g of Flubenvet Intermediate gamekeeper pack per 200kg of feed or 1.2kg Flubenvet per tonne of feed(30ppm). Treat for 7 consecutive days. c) Turkeys - 240g of Flubenvet Intermediate gamekeeper pack per 300kg of feed or 800g Flubenvet per tonne of feed (20ppm). Treat for 7 consecutive days. Treatment Frequency using Flubenvet Intermediate Game Keeper Pack: On infected premises, treatment at 3 weekly intervals may be necessary to control worm infestations. With the Flubenvet Intermediate gamekeeper pack the required amount may be sprinkled onto the daily food rotation in a feed hopper or trough. Precautions using Flubenvet Intermediate Game Keeper Pack: Birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Chickens, turkeys, geese, pheasants and partridges may be slaughtered for human consumption only from 7 days form the end of treatment. Turkeys, Geese, Pheasants and Partridges Eggs must not be presented for human consumption during treatment. Eggs may be presented for human consumption only after 7 days from the end of treatment. Chickens Eggs may be presented for human consumption during and after treatment when dosed at the rate 30ppm in feed i.e. 240g Flubenvet per 200kg of feed or 1.2kg Flubenvet per tonne of feed. For animal treatment only, keep out of reach of children. Pharmaceutical Precautions using Flubenvet Intermediate Game Keeper Pack: Flubenvet Intermediate Game Keeper Pack should be stored in tightly closed original container below 25 degrees C. The product will remain stable in finished feed for 2 months. | ||
