Product details

Even long journeys can be comfortable for your cat or dog with this Dogit/Catit Voyageur.

How it works

Your pets will be safe and secure in this container thanks to the safety lock, so they can't force their way out while you're driving. The sure-grip handle makes it easy to carry too. If they need a little bit of attention or reassurance on the road, the top petting hatch makes it simple to give them a quick fuss. There's a food and water bowl inside as well. This, along with the well-ventilated sides, ensures they stay comfortable and looked after even if you're taking them on a long journey. The waste collection gutter means you don't have to pull over if they need toilet breaks either.

Key benefits

  • sure-grip handle for easy carrying
  • safety lock
  • waste gutter
  • food and water bowl
  • well-ventilated for comfort
  • petting door for easy access to your pet

When to use it

There are a few ways you can make travel a bit less stressful for your pet. Having a good transport box with easy access for reassurance is one way, as is making sure they feel comfortable and safe. The best way to achieve this is to introduce them to their Dogit/Catit Voyageur well before you travel. Pop a few of their toys in there and they'll soon see it as their own. You can also try taking your dog or cat on short trips in the box in the car to get them used to the sensation of travel. This will make those visits to the vet a lot easier in the long term. If you do need any advice or help with your pet when it comes to travel, have a chat with your vet.

  • A roomy carrier
We took the cat from the north of England to the south of France in this carrier. I ordered the large so he had plenty of room. Locking mechanism good, easy to clean and the petting opening was useful to reassure the cat.

  • This product is sturdy and ideal for small dogs or large cats, like our cat!
We bought this product to transport our rescue cat from overseas back to the UK. It was accepted by the airline and housed our large cat very well for his 12 hour door to door journey. He was able to stand up without crouching and lay down comfortably. We use it to take him to the vets and to transport him on a 4 hour road journey every month for a long weekend in our holiday cottage. This product is excellent value for money and I cannot fault it!

  • This item was just as it says excellent carrier for a westie puppy...Seemed a little flimsy at first but when put together is actually quite sturdy...Good value for money also. And most important Alfie loves it.
