Product details

PURINA PROPLAN VETERINARY DIETS Feline HA St/Ox Hypoallergenic is a complete hypoallergenic veterinary diet that not only helps manage food allergies in cats of all ages including kittens, it can also be used for diagnosis

Food allergies in cats can cause many effects including skin discomfort and/or digestive upsets. Purina Proplan HA is a true hypoallergenic diet developed with protein, broken down (hydrolysed) into very tiny components that are too small to cause an allergic reaction, and a purified carbohydrate source. Hydrolysed diets are the best type of food to use during an 'elimination diet trial' when trying to diagnose (or rule out) food allergy. During a trial it is important that you do not feed your cat any other food or treats. Due to its high digestibility Purina Hypoallergenic is also beneficial for cats with severe bowel disease such as IBD.

Key Benefits:

  • Single hydrolysed protein broken down into tiny components too small to cause an allergic reaction
  • Purified carbohydrates to help avoid allergic reactions
  • A great taste thanks to high quality ingredients and a palatability booster
  • With St/Ox to help support urinary health in cats which may be susceptible to urinary conditions
  • Beneficial for cats with severe bowel disease such as IBD

My vet suggested i put my cat on this food. She may be suffering from IBS and we are doing a trial. Since she has been on this she has shown no signs of IBS and she loves the food. I have also tried it and its very tasty.
