Product details

With the right mix of vitamins and nutrients, Purina Pro Plan veterinary diets feline NF St/OX renal function wet food pouch with chicken can help cats with kidney disease lead a healthier, happier life.

How it works
If your cat has an issue with their kidneys, they’ll need a special diet. Full of essential nutrients, this food can help slow down kidney disease and improve their all-round health.
Reduced kidney function can cause toxins to build up in your cat’s body. This food is formulated with high-quality proteins to help reduce these toxins and preserve strong muscles. It also tastes great, which is handy if your pet’s illness has reduced their appetite.
Phosphorous can also aggravate kidney problems, so this formula contains as little of the element as possible. That way, the food can help slow the progression of the disease.
Key benefits

  • formulated for cats with chronic kidney disease
  • right level of proteins helps curb toxins
  • ingredients maintain strong muscles
  • low phosphorus levels help slow down the disease
  • great-tasting food combats reduced appetite.

When to use it
Your cat’s kidneys functioning incorrectly can hinder their ability to remove toxins from their body, causing lethargy, weight loss and confusion. If you notice any of these symptoms or are concerned about your cat’s behaviour, speak to your vet straight away. Unfortunately, kidney disease is common in cats. If your pet is suffering from a chronic kidney condition, the right diet is key. Purina Pro Plan veterinary diets feline NF St/OX renal function wet food pouch with chicken can replace your cat’s regular food and has lower toxin levels, which can help them on the way to recovery. Always seek advice before changing your cat’s diet.

  • Reliable service
Our cat has been advised by the vet to have a renal diet which she doesn't really enjoy so lots gets wasted. So being able to have reasonably priced food delivered free when needed is very convenient

  • Best Priced and possibly taste.
This product is the best priced renal product in pouches I have found. According to my cat Alice she meows for it at least three times a day and won't leave me alone until it is in her dish. Both flavours go down a treat.

  • Purina renal function diet food
Our elderly cat has recently been diagnosed with reduced kidney function. We ordered a selection of renal function food. She and her sister definitely prefer purina to other much more expensive diets and she has now put on weight and is healthier.
