Product details

Keep your neutered cat at a healthy weight with Royal Canin Feline Sterilised 12+.

How it works

This mix contains all the nutrients your cat needs after their operation, without the fat content that can pile on weight. Fibre comes from vegetables, maize flour and chicory to keep the digestive system ticking over smoothly, while plenty of protein stops your pet from getting too lethargic after meals. A mix of antioxidants from green tea and grape keep your cat’s cells healthy, their kidney function high and their immune system strong. Essential fatty acids are included to keep their coat glossy and their skin soft and supple too.

Key benefits

  • full of essential fatty acids for healthy skin and coat
  • chicory pulp and vegetable fibres aid digestion
  • balanced fat content to counter weight gain
  • boosts kidney health
  • high in antioxidants
  • specially formulated for neutered cats over the age of 12 months

When to use it

If your adult cat has recently been neutered, you might find them less likely to stray too far from home, less aggressive and more hungry than usual. One of the negative side effects of the procedure is the potential for weight gain. It’s important to monitor your cat’s eating habits after their operation to prevent them from putting on too much weight. This food can be introduced to your cat after they’ve been sterilised to keep their weight under control. As it’s lower in fat than other cat foods and is packed with protein, it can keep your cat active and energetic all through the day. If you’re thinking about changing your cat’s diet, especially following surgery, consult with your vet beforehand.

  • Great
My two cats love this food and since they have been having it I have noticed the condition of their coat is a lot better. My cats can recommend this food and the service and price of pet-supermarket

  • the product description is ridiculous
My 13 y/o boys like the food, but the product description that this food is for recently neutered cats made us laugh out loud! It is 12 year +, not 12 weeks!

  • Excellent Food
I have a elderly cat and this is her favourite. Have been using it for a few years now. Know it contains the correct ingredients for the health of my cat.

  • Swapped to this from Ageing 12 as the younger cats kept eating all the other. Not only is my 14 yr old queen more sprightly and back chasing laser pointers again, she has also lost quite a lot of weight and is looking very trim and healthy. My 14 yr old tom also seems to be thriving on it althoug
