Royal Canin Feline Sterilised Appetite Control 7+
Royal Canin Feline Sterilised Appetite Control 7+ contains all the healthy protein and essential vitamins your sterilised cat needs to live a happy and active life.
How it works
This all-in-one dry food is perfectly balanced to meet the needs of adult cats who have been neutered. After your cat has been sterilised, they no longer need as much food as they used to and could end up gaining weight. This puts extra pressure on their joints and they may become reluctant to exercise. It's therefore a good idea to switch their food to a healthy recipe that has been specially tailored for neutered cats. The moderate levels of fat and dietary fibre in each dish help to control their appetite and encourages them to consume fewer calories. They'll still feel full and satisfied after their meal, without gaining weight. There's plenty of protein to build lean muscles and give them they energy they need. Essential fatty acids help to keep joints healthy so that they can stay active and it also helps their coat to feel soft and look shiny. Antioxidants from green tea extracts and grape support your cat’s immune system as they grow older.
- recipe contains all the nutrients a neutered cat needs
- low in fat to minimise weight gain
- fibre and protein helps your cat to feel full
- fatty acids improve joints and skin condition
- antioxidants boost their immune system
- low phosphorous levels support kidney health
When to use it
After your cat has been sterilised it's a good idea to keep an eye on their weight. They'll need fewer calories even though they'll still enjoy their food just as much as usual. Swapping their dinner for a low-calorie version with plenty of fibre will help to keep them full up while eating less. Neutered cats can develop problems with their urinary system, too, so Royal Canin Feline Sterilised Appetite Control 7+ contains lower phosphorous levels to support their kidneys and urinary tract.

Suitable for:Suitable for my newish puss, who was very overweight when I first took her on. She is losing an ideal amount of weight as time goes by. She only gets the recommended quantity each day to achieve this at a suitable rate.
Good choiceOur cats took to it straight away one was obese hence the food swap and they actually don seem to eat the full portion allowance every day so it seems to be very satisfying. The obese cat is doing brilliantly with losing weight without any fuss. And price wise we thought it would be more expensive but because they are do satisfied it is costing us the same as before.Used to buy the 10kg bag of young male sterilised.
Healthy catFrankie was a stray as a kitten and although 9 now, has never stopped begging for food. She was overweight. I saw this food and thought it sounded good. She also had had a problem with food in the past and had to be careful what she ate. She loves this and has slimmed down gradually and is very healthy as she approaches her elderly years. It suits our other cat well too...Skye is 7.
Good , but not so goodMy overweight moggie the vet would like her to lose 1/2 to 3/4 kg took well to these as she always does with Royal Canin foods. However the biscuits didn't seem to sate her appetite as I'd hoped . I will persevere with them as I know weight loss in cats should be slow but at the moment doesn't seem to be doing the job.
had lots of problems with discount codes at first, but customer service were 100% helpful and resolved code problems their end :) quick delivery and both my cats are very fussy eaters but have taken to the food like ducks to water.I do wish royal canin made it possible to get samples at a small cos
