Product details

This Royal Canin pug adult dog food has been tailored to meet the needs of adult pugs.

How it works

Due to their flat, short jaw, pugs can find eating regular dog food difficult. It might be hard for them to pick up kibble or uncomfortable for them to chew, which may put them off eating. This dry food is shaped specifically to suit a pug’s jaw, making mealtimes easier to manage.

Royal Canin adult pug dog kibble is designed with your pug’s nutritional needs in mind. It’s packed full of DHA and EPA, both sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which care for the skin. As well as this, it’s high in protein, helping your pet to build lean muscle, maintain a healthy weight and giving them an energy boost.

Key benefits

  • complete, balanced dry kibble
  • helps your dog stay at a healthy weight
  • special three-pronged kibble design
  • easy for pugs to pick up and chew
  • supports the skin
  • minimum 25% protein content aids muscle tone

When to use it

If your dog is having trouble eating, shows signs of discomfort while they chew or isn't finishing their food, it might be time to switch to a food designed specifically for their breed. This dog food makes picking up food and chewing easier for pugs.

When switching your pet’s food, make sure you do so gradually to avoid upsetting their stomach, and monitor your dog’s reaction to their new dry food to check all is well. Always check the packaging to make sure your pet is getting the right amount of food for their age and weight and speak to your vet if you have any concerns.

  • Pig's love it !
My dogs love Royal Canin, they start jumping at the food cupboard when it's breakfast and dinner time and it's gone in second. I like the fact that I can buy it on line and know it's going to get here on time if and when I need it, the price might seem high compared to some dog foods but I think you pay for what you get and I know my pets are getting all the goodness they need from Royal Canin.

  • Royal canin pug food
The pugs I have love this food and seems to be good for them as no upset tummies etc. Must say though that pugs will eat anything so not sure they appreciate that it is made especially for them!
